1 Who are you? 

Chris Cox, 45, Self-employed bookkeeper

2 Favorite Athlete: 

I don't really have a favorite athlete.  The athletes I admire the most are the physically and mentally challenged that go out there and lay it all out on the line; they are incredible.

3 Favorite Quote:

4 Favorite Sport: 

I am not really a sports fan. I enjoy watching college sports because the players seem to really love the game.

5 Favorite Food: 

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream  This is definitely my comfort food.

6 First Triathlon? If not, which ones have you done? 

Danskin 2006!!!  WooHoo!!

7 What inspires you to do triathlons? 

The sense of accomplishment - of finishing something I never thought I could do.

8 WHO inspires you? 

My daughter Suzanne, she got me hooked up with the Divas and puts up with my endless questions; my Mom who always told me I could do anything I set my mind to; and the TriDivas who never stop helping and encouraging.

9 What is your biggest challenge/fear? 

My biggest challenge is the run.

10 Any advice for future TriDivas? 

Whatever athletic ability, whatever level of fitness, whatever age, you can do this and have fun doing it.

11 What do you enjoy most about training with the TriDivas? 

How much fun they all have being part of the group.  Each one brings something different to the table and they all want to share what they know.  It's a wonderfully encouraging group of women, something I haven't experienced in the past.

12 What are your future goals? 

I'd like to move up to longer distances in the next few seasons.  Also, I have been inspired by Heather's bid to tackle the Catalina swim and would like to train for that in a few years.

13 Anything else you would like to add?  

Because of the training received from Kelly, I felt really prepared for my first triathlon and anxious to continue.  Training with the Kelly and the TriDivas has been awesome.  Thanks.
