6 First Triathlon? If not, which ones have you done?

This will be my second sprint "Danskin", my first was Long Beach Triathlon.

7 What inspires you to do triathlons?

It's the challenge, trying something new. Mostly, getting out of my comfort zone.

8 WHO inspires you?

So many people! Recently, I read in Triathlete magazine an article about Sarah Reinertsen. She is the first female amputee to complete the Hawaii Ironman!

9 What is your biggest challenge/fear?

SWIMMING! At first it was fear of the water, now its fear of getting trampled in the water.

10 Any advice for future TriDivas?

Anyone can do this! I never believed I would be by myself out in the ocean, but the training built my confidence level to succeed!

11 What do you enjoy most about training with the TriDivas?

The support of each other, it really helps when you're struggling! (Thanks, Cora!)

12 What are your future goals?

This year, Danskin and probably Long Beach Sprint. I'm being very selective because I haven't figured out the waves yet! But I plan to work on my speed in running to qualify for Boston Marathon. I hope to finish an Ironman before I'm 40 yrs. old!
