People who don’t follow their workout schedules and wonder why they did not do better in the race. You must follow your schedule and listen to the COACH!

I have done a few race in my years with the Tridivas, where do I start:
Santa Barbara super sprint and relay long course
San Diego Sprint
Long Beach Sprint
Camp Pendleton Olympic
Danskin sprint
Barb’s Half Ironman
Great Floridian Ironman
A few marathons and half marathons in preparation for my races
What inspires you to do triathlons?
KELLY!!!! I was doing Team in Training for the San Diego Marathon with Kelly as my coach and as the race got closer she asked if I had ever done a tri and of course I said no and she thought it would be a great thing to try. So here I am year 5 with the Tridivas and have accomplished an Ironman under Kelly’s guidance and coaching.
Who inspires you?
Kelly has inspired me to take on challenges and reach my goal of an IRONMAN finisher…
The other Divas have also inspired me. They have been there cheering me on during long trainings or I have seen them achieve their goals which has inspired me to keep working hard to get to my Ironman.
What is your biggest challenge/fear?
Swimming in the ocean.
Any advice for future TriDivas?
Jump in, it is so much fun… You not only get great workouts, achieve your goals but meet a great group of people who support you and are always very encouraging. I have made many new friends and continue to share the same common goal with them and that is to have fun and be healthy.
What do you enjoy most about training with the TriDivas?
You always have someone to train with. There are so many women and so many different training levels that you are never really alone in your training.
What are your future goals?
Well, now that I have accomplished my Ironman, I just want to have fun and do at least one race a month. It can be a 5k or a sprint tri either way do something each month.
